Aya & Sura respects the privacy of families who visit our websites, purchase our products, join our email list or contact us.

Information you provide

We may collect information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, billing/shipping information for orders, contact or feedback messages, product interests, approximate child age range when voluntarily provided for research, and order-support information.

We do not need a child's name for normal use of the site, Adventure Club or feedback forms, and our forms should not ask children to submit personal information directly.

Orders and payments

Purchases may be processed through ecommerce/payment providers such as WooCommerce and Stripe. Payment-card details are handled by the payment processor and are not intended to be stored directly by the Aya & Sura marketing website.

Email sign-ups

If you request the Free Starter Pack, Adventure Club information, book updates or other email communication, we may collect your email address and subscription preferences. We may use an email provider such as Brevo to confirm subscriptions, deliver requested resources, send updates and manage unsubscribes.

Where double opt-in is enabled, you may need to confirm your email address before receiving the requested resource or ongoing email.

Forms and feedback

Information submitted through contact or feedback forms may be used to respond, improve products, understand product use and plan future content. Submitting feedback does not automatically give Aya & Sura permission to publish your name, photograph or testimonial. If we want to publish identifiable feedback, we should obtain separate permission.

Automatically collected information

The website or its hosting/security providers may collect technical information such as IP address, browser/device type, requested pages, timestamps, security logs and error logs for operation, security and troubleshooting.

If analytics or advertising tools are added, this policy should be updated to describe them.

The site, shop, payment provider or security provider may use cookies or similar technologies needed for shopping-cart/checkout functions, sessions, security, fraud prevention and preferences. Aya & Sura makes products for children, but the website, store, mailing list and customer forms are intended for parents, guardians and other adults. We do not intentionally ask children to create accounts, join marketing lists or provide personal information directly through the main site.

Product fulfillment

If physical products are fulfilled through third parties, we may provide information reasonably necessary to fulfill the order, such as recipient name, shipping address, product, shipping method and order identifier. Possible fulfillment providers may include printing/shipping partners such as Lulu or other providers selected for a product.

Aya & Sura may use providers for hosting/security, ecommerce, payments, email delivery, print-on-demand/shipping, analytics, form processing and file delivery. These providers may process information as needed to provide their services under their own terms and privacy practices.

How we use information

We may use information to provide products/downloads, process/support orders, send requested email, respond to questions, maintain QR/audio resources, improve products, prevent abuse/fraud, maintain security and meet legal/accounting obligations.

Sharing and selling information

Aya & Sura does not intend to sell personal information to data brokers or advertisers. We may share information with service providers when reasonably necessary to operate the site, process a transaction, deliver email, fulfill an order or provide support, and where required by law or safety/security needs.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including order/accounting records, support, subscription management, research and security.

Your choices
